And because someone asked…the name of my blog was chosen as an homage to the CAKE BOSS. He cracks me up, and with all the couponing and bargain shopping I’ve been doing, my friend starting calling me “Coupon Boss” and it just stuck. I actually don’t think of myself as all that bossy but… I felt like it was a good name because it’s empowering. The way I like to think about it is this: the big stores are not our boss…WE will say how much we’re willing to pay (by using coupons and following sales and by stocking up when the price of an item is lowest). And now I sometimes hear the They Might Be Giants song “Boss of Me” in my head when I shop! lol
